Six common problems and countermeasures in the use of bearings

1. Strong metal sound
Abnormal load: select appropriate assembly clearance and preload;
Poor assembly: improve shaft machining accuracy and improve installation methods;
Insufficient lubricant: replenish or use appropriate lubricant.

2. Regular sounds
Foreign matter causes channel corrosion, indentations, and scars: Clean related parts and use clean grease;
Channel spalling: fatigue wear, replace the bearing.

3. Irregular sounds
Foreign matter intrusion: Clean related parts and use clean grease;
The clearance is too large: pay attention to coordination and choose the appropriate clearance;
Steel ball scars: The steel ball is peeled off due to fatigue or stuck by foreign matter. Replace the bearing.

4. Abnormal temperature rise
Too much lubricant: reduce lubricant;
Insufficient or unsuitable lubricant: add lubricant or choose appropriate lubricant;
The mating surface creeps or the sealing device is too large: the bearing outer diameter or inner diameter mating surface is corrected, and the sealing form is changed.

5. The rotational vibration of the shaft is large
Spalling: fatigue spalling, replace the bearing;
Poor assembly: improve the machining accuracy of the shaft and improve the installation method;
Foreign matter intrusion: Clean related parts and use clean grease.

6. Large discoloration due to lubricant leakage
Too much lubricant: reduce lubricant;
